Founder and President, Amy Carlton
Nineteen years of age, Amy is a student at Santa Clara University.  She is a skilled volleyball player, tennis enthusiast and a talented artist with a passion for children.  Wanting to apply her talent and passion to do good in the United States, she founded Teens Fighting Hunger in 2007 while a high school freshman.

Teens Fighting Hunger is a teen-driven organization. Youth involvement and growth are cornerstones of our philosophy. As a charitable corporation we do require some people of legal age to play a role. They serve as guides and mentors; they empower us and watch out for us too. Many thanks.

Director, J. Steven Carlton
Steve’s background includes 20 years in marketing involving both product management and strategic development.  During these years Steve helped in the initial funding and start up phases of numerous Silicon Valley companies.  As founder of Carlton Marketing, Steve worked with many large clients including Apple, Adobe, and Hewlett Packard on numerous product launches, new product plans, and marketing service assignments.  Steve has a BA from Stanford and a JD from Santa Clara University.

Secretary/Treasurer/Director, Debbie Carlton
Debbie’s career includes 20 years of corporate positions in finance, service, marketing, and strategy as well as 5 years as founder of Carlton Insurance LLC, a health insurance brokerage.  During her 12-year tenure with Apple, she held senior manager and director level positions in market research, customer service, strategic planning, finance, and marketing. Debbie has a BA from Stanford and an MBA from Wharton.

Director, Patrick Prothe
Patrick is the Brand Manager for Coaxis, a Software Development and Management Company. Prior to his current position, he held senior marketing roles and executive positions in major corporations as well as his own consulting and marketing services firms.  He is both a professional photographer and graphic designer with a BA from The University of Oregon and an MBA from Ellis College of NYIT.

Director, Lisa Giarretto
Lisa is a Senior Vice President at HIP Investor Inc., an Investment Advisor registered in California.  Prior to her current position, Lisa has held a number of executive positions involving corporate, foundation and individual philanthropy relations to provide business solutions for promising new start-up companies.   She started her career on Wall Street and later served as Vice President and Manager of National Business Development for Wells Fargo Bank’s Foreign Exchange Advisory Group.  Lisa earned her BA from San Francisco State University and a MA in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Director, Susan Rohrbacher
Susan is a licensed speech pathologist in private practice. In the 70’s and 80’s, Susan worked in the San Diego and LA County school districts as a Language Speech and Hearing Specialist.  Throughout more than 30 years of practice, she has specialized in pre-school through high school students.  She holds both a BA and MA in Speech Communication from California State University at Northridge.
